This class is taught in West Seattle inside our Maiden Mansion tiny house on wheels. The exact address will be e-mailed after the purchase of a class ticket. The goal of this class is to explain the steps, time, and money it takes to design and build a tiny house that you will be able to live in comfortably. We’ll get you familiar with the tangible aspect of building a tiny house such as the insulation, siding, appliances, electrical, plumbing, etc. as well as the incredibly important, but often forgotten, intangible aspects such as permits, codes, and insuring your tiny house.

Much of this information is a compilation of things we wished we’d known from the start as it would have saved us hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars. Whether you’re planning to take on the challenge yourself or have a tiny house company do the brunt of the work for you this class will give you the capability to make informed decisions during each step of the process. Regardless of the route you take, we want you to end up with a home that you are happy with. By the end of our class we’ll make sure you know which direction to go and what steps to take next toward your own tiny house.

The purchase of this ticket also comes with dozens of hours of workshops and digital tiny house instruction provided by TinyHouseBuild.com! This will be e-mailed to whichever e-mail you enter when purchasing your ticket. If you have any trouble accessing or downloading these, we can go over it during class time.
